‘Earth Hour 2008′ Turn Off The Lights!
On 29 March the Earth Hour Action will take place, this time on a global scale not only in Sydney.
If you are not familiar with what ‘Earth Hour’ I can tell you that is one idea that I find to be great for our humanity.
The idea is very simple, on 29 March 2008, at 8pm we are asked to turn off the lights showing this way that we care about our planet.
Last year in Sydney the power was cut off between 7:30pm and 8:30pm and it’s estimated that Sydney’s mains electricity consumption have been cut off between 2.1% and 10.2% for that hour.
At the event took place 2.2 million people.
So if you care about our planet turn off the lights on 29 March.
