Britney Spears Will Open The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards
We found out that Britney Spears will not perform at the MTV Video Music Awards but it looks like she will be opening the VMA’s.
This is going to be interesting as this year VMA’s celebrate their 25 anniversary and with Britney in the opening is going to be huge.
This is what Britney had to say about it:
MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs? I’m excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated.

You’re right, what would the VMAs be without Ms. Spears??! Britney is back for REALS, so make sure to tune in – who knows what will happen. I’m sure everyone is just as anxious as I am to see what Britney has up her sleeve…

the best part of the VMA’s was Kanye West’s performance at the end… the worst part was the host (what’s with the accent?)
