Miley Cyrus Dior 1949 vs Zuhair Murad Spring for Oscars 2009
Miley Cyrus was present at the 81st Annual Academy Awards Oscars 2009 wearing a very beautiful dress.
People on style.com say Miley wore a Zuhair Murad Spring 2009 Couture but as you can see the dress Miley wore looks so much to a vintage gown created by Dior in 1949.
I don’t know if Zuhair dress, which I couldn’t find on the web, is a rip off but there is no doubt the dress Miley wore was created after the Dior 1949 dress.

If you look on the Zuhair Murad website, this dress can be found in the Le Bal Des Sirenes collection, BS-50. I absolutely love this dress!

Hi — I sure am glad that someone else noticed the total ripoff of Dior for the skirt of this gown. I couldn’t believe Tim Gunn didn’t say anything after he and other judges have been so snarky on Project Runway about using old designs.

Murab called this dress A HOMAGE FOR DIOR. It is really great idea to re-invent old piece of arts, so nowadays generation can appreciate the original artist
