I don’t usually write about Hilary Duff especially because I don’t think she is an interesting person. But this time I couldn’t help myself not notice the difference between the real Hilary Duff and the slimmed down version of herself on ads for DKNY jeans.

This kind of altered reality troubles me a lot, as I do have some extra meat on my bones. And as every woman I do love to shop and I do love clothes, but seeing how they alter reality definitely makes me wonder if I should love my body the way it is or should I “photoshop” myself to become thin?

I definitely wouldn’t buy jeans from DKNY because with this ad they will trouble some more girls then just one (that being me). I’m sure there are a lot of girls out there with weight issues that can’t handle such reality.

I would really want to know DKNY answer to this question: Why did you felt the need to chop of the meat on Hilary’s legs and make her look thinner? Couldn’t you just pay another person, a thinner one to model for you?

Personally I love Taylor because of how she looks and because she did so much by the age of 16. But I do admit I am a little bit jealous of her. I loved Nirvana too when I was 16 and somewhere deep inside my soul I wished I have a band of my own and be a singer. But life’s a bitch and I’ve ended up working at a desk for 9 hours a day with a shity salary.

Ok enough complaining. Here is what Taylor (16 years old) had to say about boys her age:
I’m not going to date someone who’s sixteen. Boys are so much less mature than girls as it is; there’s just no way—I would eat a boy my age alive.

The only thing I was allowed to eat at 16 years old was the food my mom cocked for me (doh!) Kids these days…

According to Star magazine, Jay Barrymore, yes that ugly old guy Emma Watson is dating has asked her to marry him because he’s afraid he will lose Emma the moment she will go to the Brown University.

What do you think about this? Is it true? I mean I do not see Emma marrying this guy or any other guy. She’s too smart to get married so young. (via)
