The 61st edition of the Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony took place today.

At the screening of Brazilian director Fernando Meirelles film ‘Blindness’ were present some of the A-list celebrities, such as Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Mischa Barton, and Eva Longoria.

Natalie Portman will be part of the jury this year and Sean Penn will lead the jury.
