It’s just the begging of August and magazines are already publishing their September issues. It’s kind of sad to know summer is going to be over soon. I love autumn and winter but I dislike feeling cold and I am a very cold person (I need like 2 pairs of socks in the winter to keep my feet warm).

Oh, ok this post isn’t about my cold feet it’s about Ashley Olsen being on the cover of Marie Claire the September 2009 issue.

I do not like the cover but I do like the second photo and it’s probably one of the few photos where I find Ashley being attractive and sexy.

DO you remember how the Olsen twins looked like at the 2008 Costume Institute Gala? Well you can see them here and take a good look at them because this year Ashley and Mary-Kate did a lot better on choosing their clothes.

Ashley Olsen wore a white The Row gown and even if the dress looked oversized on the little Ashley I think she was still very elegant.

Her twin sister Mary-Kate is still with one leg on the “dark” side but compared with her older self I do think she did better this year.

It’s the Olsen twins time to promote themselves around New York this month. In fact the twins are promoting their new book called Influence.

I love Ashley’s leather leggings and those sky high platforms shoes and I guess it’s the first time I like what one of the Olsen twins is wearing.

The photo was taken yesterday at Barnes & Noble, Union Square as Mary Kate and Ashley were there to sing copies of their book.
