The big winner of the Oscars 2009 the 81st Annual Academy Awards is Slumdog Millionaire with 8 Oscars for Best Direction, Best Original Song, Best Original Score, Best Film Editing, best Sound Mixing, Best Cinematography, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Picture!

Freida Pinto was a happy presence at the Oscars 2009 last night and she was also a beautiful and exotic appearance dressed in a John Galliano Spring 2009 blue gown.

Natalie Portman was quite a pink appearance at the Oscars 2009 as she wore a Rodarte Spring 2009 chiffon strapless gown.

The dress is beautiful and Natalie wore it well, but something is wrong with Portman’s make up. She should have chosen something more light for her eyes make-up.

Penelope who won an Oscar for Actress in a supporting role in Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona wore a vintage Pierre Balmain Haute Couture from 1950.

Miley Cyrus Dior 1949 vs Zuhair Murad Spring for Oscars 2009

Miley Cyrus was present at the 81st Annual Academy Awards Oscars 2009 wearing a very beautiful dress.

People on style.com say Miley wore a Zuhair Murad Spring 2009 Couture but as you can see the dress Miley wore looks so much to a vintage gown created by Dior in 1949.

I don’t know if Zuhair dress, which I couldn’t find on the web, is a rip off but there is no doubt the dress Miley wore was created after the Dior 1949 dress.

Kate Winslet was one of the big winners at the Oscars last night, as she won the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her part in “The Reader”. I was kind of expecting this. Kate Winslet wore a Stefano Pilati for Yves Saint Laurent Atelier grey one shoulder gown.

After searching and looking at all the dresses from the Spring ready to Wear 2009 collection the only dress I could find and I believe could have something to do with what Kate wore at the 81st Annual Academy Awards is the one in the photo below, but I might be wrong.

Angelina Jolie was present at the Oscars 2009, with her husband Brad Pitt. Sometimes I love Angelina Jolie way of choosing her clothes, but then again when I see her on the red carpet she disappoints me. I have nothing against her black choice of color for almost every public appearance she make.

But I still believe she could do better. At the 81st Annual Academy Awards Angelina Jolie wore the black version of a Elie Saab gown from the Spring 2009 collection.

Today all the post will probably be about the Oscars 2009, because I assume you are just like me curious to see and know what celebrities wore at the 81st Annual Academy Awards.

I shall start with Tilda Swinton, who is the weird face woman that I feel attracted to for unknown reasons. Tilda wore a beautiful Lanvin Pre-Fall 2009 silk satin blouse and a very elegant black long satin skirt.
